Chevrolet Wall Art
Chevrolet Wall Art Triptych Metal Sign. Made in USA using heavy gauge American steel. The metal panels are first powder coated. The designs are then baked into the powdercoating whch makes the finish extremely durable just like traditional powdercoating on a car or motorcycle frame for example. These are premium metal signs unlike the flimly tin signs you see at the store or Amazon.
The tripychs come in three sizes, small, medium and large. The plain signs without the frames come with rivets on each corner, ready to hang. You can also select the barn wood style frame option. With the frame option, each metal panel is framed and has rustic style screws and hangers on the back. Many of our customers love this option because it goes well with rustic, vintage, or industrial home decor.

History of this art
The first brand’s logo was composed of a black signature of the founder, Louis Chevrolet, executed in a bold and distinct handwritten typeface. Chevrolet script nameplate, designed for Chevrolet's original 1911-1914 Type C, also known as the Classic Six.
Chevrolet is an American brand of car designer and manufacturer, which was established in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and Willian Durant. It is the leading brand of GMC, which is the company’s owner, and one of the top-selling car marques in the USA.
On November 3, 1911, Swiss race car driver and automotive engineer Louis Chevrolet co-founded the "Chevrolet Motor Company" in Detroit with his brother Arthur Chevrolet, William C. Durant and investment partners William Little (maker of the Little automobile), former Buickowner James H. Whiting, Dr. Edwin R. Campbell (son-in-law of Durant) and in 1912 R. S. McLaughlin CEO of General Motors in Canada.
Durant was fired from his senior management position at General Motors in 1910, a company that he had founded in 1908. In 1904 he had taken over the Flint Wagon Works and Buick Motor Company of Flint, Michigan. He also incorporated the Mason and Little companies. As head of Buick, Durant had hired Louis Chevrolet to drive Buicks in promotional races.Durant planned to use Chevrolet's reputation as a racer as the foundation for his new automobile company. The first factory location was in Flint, Michigan at the corner of Wilcox and Kearsley Street, now known as "Chevy Commons".
